RONGHUA · Our Story

From Our Hands
to Your Story.

Handmade jewelry shaped by natural stones, real market conversations, and the people who wear it.

Before RONGHUA, CJ explored different crafts, travelled, and met people through small market stalls. Those experiences eventually found a home in handmade jewelry.

01 / Before RONGHUA

The early market days, 2023–2024

These photos come from before RONGHUA officially existed. They matter because they show the part people usually never see: the trial-and-error stage, the travel, the small setups, and the long stretch of learning by doing.

CJ didn’t begin with a finished brand or a polished booth. She began by showing up — sometimes with a simple table, sometimes with a suitcase display, sometimes outdoors, sometimes in a corner of a mall — and learning directly from the people who stopped to look.

Those early experiences shaped how RONGHUA thinks about jewelry today: not as decoration that asks the wearer to change, but as a quiet finishing touch that naturally belongs to someone’s life.

Why this chapter matters: it shows that RONGHUA wasn’t invented all at once. It was built step by step, through real encounters and lived experience.

02 / How the brand took shape

A shared direction, then a name

In May 2024, CJ met Kin at a market. They connected through a shared love of handmade work and a similar way of seeing beauty — something natural, personal, and never overly forced.

Together, they began shaping what would become RONGHUA. The goal was never to make jewelry that overwhelms the wearer. Instead, they wanted to create pieces that highlight the person first, and let the material speak with restraint.

On Little New Year’s Eve in January 2025, they attended their first market under the RONGHUA name. From there, RONGHUA continued to grow through one market after another, steadily refining its display, materials, product language, and sense of self.

“Jewelry should fit the person, not the other way around.”

That belief is the thread connecting our materials, our market journey, and every piece we make.

03 / Real markets, real feedback

Where the brand learned to listen

Markets became more than a sales channel. They were our closest point of contact with real people — the place where we could watch what someone reached for first, what they tried on, what they hesitated over, and what made them smile.

That kind of feedback can’t be replaced by guesses. It helped us understand proportions, color balance, versatility, comfort, and the kinds of details that make a piece feel truly wearable.

04 / Making and refining

Every improvement came from doing

As the markets continued, so did the design process. Materials were tested again and again. Some pieces were adjusted after conversations with customers. Some ideas became more versatile because someone imagined a different way to wear them.

These are the parts of the story we value most: making, adjusting, selecting, stringing, and learning where to do less so the character of a stone, a color, or a small detail can stay clear.

That is still how RONGHUA works today. The person is always the main character. Jewelry simply helps the right detail come forward.

05 / A milestone

A moment worth remembering

Universe Memory Awards · Top 100

In 2025, RONGHUA’s work was selected for the Universe Memory Awards Top 100. For us, the recognition meant much more than a title. It carried the weight of every early stall, every adjustment, every real-life fitting, and every person who had supported the work along the way.

  • A reminder that independent handmade work can travel farther than we first imagine.
  • Proof that consistency, patience, and real-world feedback matter.
  • A milestone we carry with gratitude — but not the end of the story.

06 / From our market stall to you

Beauty was always yours.

For a long time, the markets were where RONGHUA grew. They taught us how people wear jewelry, what they care about, what makes them pause, and what makes a piece feel personal. Those lessons continue to shape everything we do online.

We believe that every person already has a beauty of their own. Jewelry isn’t here to correct you or compete with you. It is simply a finishing touch — a way to quietly reflect what is already there.

We choose the materials, imagine the design, and make the piece. What it comes to mean is entirely yours.

With love,
CJ & Kin
